Tipping the Scales

We took Lily in for a weight check this week and she clocked in at a whopping 9 pounds and 3 ounces, almost three pounds more than when we brought her home a month ago. It should be no wonder that a child that comes out of a woman who drinks beer out of a can like a construction worker and eats casseroles like they are going out of style would stay small. I have clearly had a midwestern corn fed child in the middle of the south. That makes me smile.

Remember when I said check back often for more pictures? Yeah, me too. Needless to say the past ALMOST three weeks have been a whirl wind of lots of stuff I won't detail out here. She continues to be amazing, captivating us for hours on end. Attached are some shots from her first trip to our favorite watering hole (where she snagged the aunties and I a half price lunch!) and some shots from this morning with her cousins Bryan and Kendall. And I mean it this time when I say more pictures updated regularly...ok, at least weekly, I promise.
